A THRILL events Segways Treasure Hunt was a terrific team building reward activity for the E-Commerce BUPA teams. Enjoying the exhileration of Segway Riding around the historic Newington Armory at Sydney Olympic Park Homebush Bay. Ahmad, BUPA E-Commerce Manager, reported, "Thanks THRILL, A Great Day - Everyone got involved, had a laugh and really enjoyed themselves!"
The BUPA Team selected THRILL Team Events to facilitate their Segways Treasure Hunt as THRILL catered to their individual needs with a new and inspirational event to reward and inspire the BUPA teams.
THRILL team events were determined to provide a new challenge and experience!
BUPA Teams were first put to the test with their Segway skills. Safety first!
Team mates were individually launched onto Segways to get comfortable with incredible Cross Country, fat tired X2 Segway off -road machines.
Once balance and coordination of steering and speed was achieved, the BUPA teams set off to conquer the undulating hills and a cross country course of the historic Newington Armory.
Negotiating ammunition Bunkers, Storage facilities and historic Armory buildings.
Teams located checkpoints for special clues on the Segway Treasure Hunt.
Once all clues were found BUPA employees were put to the test at Segway HQ in a series of fun and exciting facilitated team building challenges aboard their Segways.
Testing their control and handling skills of the Segway X2.
BUPA employees mastered the Segway course effectively and raced across the finish line!
Once all clues were retrieved fun Segway Relay Challenges completed, BUPA teams locked in their answers and were told the mystery location of their secured Treasure Chest.
Red Team succeeding first and taking off - went over the hills and too far away, leaving the second in line Blue team to locate the treasure chest from under their noses!
But alas to no avail the Blue and Red Team failed in opening the Treasures, leaving it open for the Yellow team to make off with the prize!
Demonstrating that an effective team building strategy can win the day!
