AMP Build a Bike at Taronga Zoo was an exceptional way to develop team skills, and give back to the community - for a Wheeling good time!
The AMP Team selected THRILL Team Events to facilitate their Build a Bike event as they wished to partake in an event that was socially responsible. AMP has a set of values that recognise their responsibilities to all stakeholders, including the community and the environment. AMP felt that Build a Bike fulfilled its requirements as a responsible corporate citizen.
AMP were in Taronga Zoo Ballroom for their event. After an ice-breaker session to loosen up the participants after their conference sessions. AMP were given the pieces to their bikes. Immediately everyone was getting stuck into building the Bikes. Each team member had a job to complete on the bike and got to it with speed. Overcoming some difficulty of putting the bike together - teams problem solved and managed to put together the pieces and create 13 fantastic bikes.
Racing to the finish line, teams created, decorated and designed on cards for the Bikes to be presented. Labelling them, then adorning them on the bikes to give them that personal touch.
The Smith Family were extremely welcoming of the bikes which were donated by AMP. They will certainly bring enjoyment to all the children who will be using them.
